Baby block lettering will be used to spell out

Missouri Tigers across the top. I'm going to add a few hooks to hang momentos on, and am painting a small frame to include for a special photo. The white columns in the middle have meaning for Tig fans.

My first crib bench

This was my husband's and his brother's crib. I originally made it for their Mother, but since she's downsized I get to keep it now! I hung their baby shoes on it. I'm going to do some decorative painting on it, now that it's mine!

Faux Tile Fooled a Flooring Salesman!

This was a light gray Formica counter for a tanning salon. The colors used were the other colors already in the salon. I applied two coats of primer, then used latex and acrylic paint to paint the tile and grout lines.

After one coat of polyacrylic, I rolled the last coat on to give it the texture of tile. A few of the tiles I painted to look as if they were cracked and chipped.

Suitcases

I primed the old suitcase first, then
painted a basecoat of banana yellow.
I then glued lace all over it.

A brown glaze was ragged on, and
lightly buffed it with gold paste.
